Floor x8 just meant floor 28 38 48 etc. However i have cleared floor 39 like ten times with no cursed tool. I have saved on 38 before going into 39 and clearing it and i have 3 empty tool slots so that is not an issue either are they all gonna be this hard to find or am i missing something.
